An adverb is a word used to modify a verb, an adjective,or
another adverb.
Ex. Quickly and suddenly are adverbs.
Adjective + ly = adverb
Ex. Quick+ ly = quickly sudden + ly = suddenly
bad + ly = badly careful + ly = carefully

Adverbs tell you how something happens or how somebody does something:
