Rich women had many rights like running their own businesses and owning land
Both men and women wore eye make-up made from black ashes
Children had lots of playtime

Most people lived near the Nile River because of the water and
crops that were grown along it
The Nile River floods a couple months out of the year which leaves great soil for crops to grow
Planted papyrus right next to the river which was used to make paper
