Almaty is the cultural center of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are a lot of sights and cultural centers.

In Almaty there are 14 theatres, 7 concert halls, 2 philharmonic, 11 orchestras, 13 ensembles. There are 32 museums, 20 art galleries, 115 monuments of architecture and monumental art. There are 18 cinemas, a circus and 920 sports facilities.

I want to show you some of the interesting places that you can visit.

"Medeu" is the most mountainous complex in the world for winter sports. It is situated at an altitude of 1691м above the sea level. The best skaters of the world called the almaty skating rink "factory of records", more than 200 world records was established there.
The Chimbulack VII Asian winter games were held on the ice of the SUN "Medeo in February of 2011 ".
