This system is called democracy, and the term takes it origin precisely from two ancient Greek words δῆμος (demos) and κράτος (power). The emerging formation of public consciousness appeared on the basis of experience of economic and political upheavals and successes. Democracy opened before mankind a new form of organization of society.
