Five Ponds’ Secret...
The unique system of five ponds is also impressive. The bottom of each is filled with oak and clay, and overlapped by willow twigs. Although the ponds are more than 160 years old, the water does not leave them. Through special grooves, the ponds are fed by melt water, so the level remains unchanged even in the driest summer.

In Rogozhsky Park almost all the main tree species of the zone are represented. There are also rare trees of Siberian fir and cedar (Siberian pine). The park's landscapes are decorated with silver poplar, birch, spruce, aspen, maple, linden, bird cherry, white and brittle willow, forest honeysuckle, common lilac, buckthorn, and wild rose.
