Famous Russian actress dies at the age of 82

Nonna Mordyukova was well known all over the world , and in Russia she popularized the image of the typical Soviet woman.

In 1949 ,she had received the State Award of the USSR for the role of Ulyana Gromova in a film “The Young Guard”
In 1955 she played the role of Stesha in a film “Other People`s Relatives”(Chuzhaya Rodnya)

Mordyukova played a great number of comedy roles.
During Her career that spanned half a century she starred in 60 films.

She received the OTTO DIBELIUS FILM AWARD , and Special Jury Prize at the Berlin international Film Festival and Silver Spur Award (Flanders International Film Festival)
