Astana IT University was established on behalf of the First President of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev N. N., the Public Fund "Nursultan Nazarbayev Education Fund" on February 12, 2019 (https://astanait.edu.kz/) with the sole mission and purpose of preparing high quality professionals in the areas of IT, Computer Science and IT Management in support of Kazakhstan’s vision for a full-fledged implementation of the State Program “Digital Kazakhstan”.
