The Council has overall responsibility for Euromech Colloquia and Euromech Conferences. The latter presently comprise
the EUROMECH Solid Mechanics Conference (held every three years),
the EUROMECH Fluid Mechanics Conference (held every two years),
the EUROMECH Turbulence Conference (held every two years),
the EUROMECH Nonlinear Oscillations Conference (held every three years) and
the EUROMECH Mechanics of Materials Conference (held every year).
The society is governed by the Council whose members are being elected according to rules set in Statutes.

International Association for Computational Mechanics
In 1981 IACM was formally established. The General and Executive Councils were confirmed and the Constitution approved. With the Constitution giving equal emphasis to the three geographical Regions of the Americas, Europe-Middle East-Africa and Asia-Australia, a rotation of such World Congresses between the regions on a two year cycle was established.
The Nordic Association for Computational Mechanics (NoACM)
Currently, there are 27 affiliated organizations, representing 35 different countries from worldwide.

and a Special Interest Conference of the International Association
for Computational Mechanics (IACM).

for Computational Mechanics (IACM): The Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland,
Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the Baltic countries: Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Nordic Seminar on Computational Mechanics (NSCM) is organised annually
by the NoACM and the first event was held at Chalmers University in Gothenburg,
Sweden in 1988.
