The establishment of the Federal coat of arms and Federal eagle of Germany was adopted on January 20, 1950, but it contains only a description. The drawing of the coat of arms was adopted on July 4, 1952 and completely repeats the drawing of the coat of arms of Germany of the sample of 1928.
