Generation X is a generation that born in the early 60’s to the early 80’s

Kurt was born in Aberdeen, Washington.

Kurt Cobain, born on the 20th of February 1967, became the very boy who suffered the hardships of capitalistic changes in the society.

When Kurt was 9 years old, his parents divorced. After that case the personality of the boy radically changed. The boy became withdrawn and tried to appear at home less, hanging around the streets of boring Aberdeen like all representatives of Generation X.

In 1980’s in States were decided to cancel the youth assistance program and to redirect the assistance to old aged people. In result every fifth person from the Generation X spend youth in poverty. During that time drug epidemic broke out and AIDS(СПИД) spread

NIRVANA
Nirvana is an outstanding American rock band, formed in 1987 by vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain, the leader of the group and the author of all lyrics , Christ Novoselic( basguitar) and Dave Grohl (drummer).
In 1989 Nirvana released its first album entitled “BLEACH”

In 1991 the first single of the coming album “NeverMind” was released: “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. It became a musical phenomenon. Kurt wrote about his time, surroundings, generation and people of his age. And he got the point! Teenagers by millions cried this song out loud all together…

In September 1992 an unexpected case happened. Nirvana’s second album “NeverMind” took the first place in the charts and outrun the just-released Michael Jackson’s album ‘Dangerous”

Though you can differently refer to Nirvana’s music , but nevertheless no one can deny its cultural contribution.

Another Interesting Fact
In 2012 “The Rolling Stones” magazine put the album “NeverMind” on the 17th place amongst the greatest albums of music history: “No album over the years has had such an overwhelming impact on an entire generation, and such a disastrous effect on the main its Creator”.

The world of corporations, profit and hypocrisy disappointed him. Later Kurt was disappointed in his marriage with sassy, unbalanced, rocker woman Courtney Love, that led to tragedy and finally Kurt mired in heroin addiction( героиновая зависимость), that destroyed him.
Nevertheless Kurt proceeded to write lyrics. And in 1993 the last album was released. At first it had an alarming title: “I hate myself and I want to die. Later it was named “In Utero”(в утробе)
Disappointment

On the 8th of April 1994 an electric came to the Cobain’s house in Seattle to install a home security system. It was him who found Kurt Cobain lying dead with a bullet in his head after three days of his death. Kurt Cobain died on the 5th of April 1994. The Police named the cause of the death as suicide. But when the news spread in the society a theory appeared that Cobain was murdered.
DEATH

Nobody knows if Courtney Love ordered the killing of Kurt or not, but we may dare to suppose that she assisted to this tragedy to happen.
