eSports are known as electronic sports. It is definitely not the most exerting type of sport out there but it is considered to be a sport. Basically its playing video games at a very high level and as in high level I mean best in the world. The term eSports is not very familiar in European coountries but in a place like China and Korea it is one of the more popular things. There is dedicated official TV channel for eSports in Korea as well. There are several different types of games that are categorized as being an eSport varying from strategy to shooter and even puzzle games.
