Present Perfect –
это действие, которое произошло в неустановленный момент времени и связано с настоящим

дает возможность сказать о том, что произошло недавно

Обозначает действие, начавшееся в прошлом и продолжающееся до настоящего момента (стативные глаголы)
He has known Ben for ages.

могут употребляться наречия:
ever когда-либо
never никогда
just только что
already уже
lately недавно
yet ещё
by now к этому времени
up to now до сих пор
Могут использоваться указатели времени:
Today, this week / month / year,
this morning / afternoon / evening

Present Perfect Continuous

С Present Perfect Continuous
могут употребляться:
For – в течение
Since – с, с тех пор как
All day (all my life,...) – весь день (всю жизнь,...)
Recently - недавно
Lately – в последнее время
For a long time - долго

Present Perfect употребляется вместо Present Perfect Continuous с глаголами, которые не употребляются в длительной форме (стативными):
мыслительная деятельность(know-знать, understand-понимать, believe-верить, need-нуждаться),
чувственное восприятие (hear-слышать, smell-пахнуть, taste–быть на вкус),
чувства и эмоции (like-нравиться, hate-ненавидеть, want-хотеть),
глаголы состояния( be-быть, have-иметь).
