Churches
Ascension Church was built in XVIII-XIX centuries. In Soviet times the church was closed and the building was used for other purposes. The revival began in 1996.

Holy Spirit Cathedral is the oldest stone building in city Romny. It is located at the highest point of the city. This outstanding architectural monument in the Ukrainian Baroque style was created in 1738-46.

Monument to Taras Shevchenko
Monument to Taras Shevchenko in Romny is the world's first monument to the Great Kobzar. It was opened on October 27, 1918.

Shevchenko Recreation Park
Its total area is 11.3 hectares.

Romensky College.
Romensky College of the Sumy National Agrarian University is a higher educational institution.
