My point of view is that people are able to train themselves without any IT skills. First of all, humans have been using a variety of theoretical and practical skills in self-study for centuries. In particular, basic skills such as independent searching of informative texts and making notes are really helpful for individual learners. Reading, scanning and skimming enrich human imagination and creativity that are thought as vital abilities in self-educating process.
