History
Journalism arose in every nation at a sufficiently high level of social development. Feudal society with its disunity and subsistence economy practically did not need a wide exchange of information. Only with the growth of capitalist relations — commodity exchange, or at least the development of elements of the capitalist system within the framework of feudalism — there were modern ways of disseminating information through the replication of news on a machine basis, journalism is born. The aging of these conditions falls in different countries at different times — the end of XVI, XVII, XVIII centuries. In Russia, journalism as an information industry appeared in the early XVIII century.
