During the Great Patriotic war, Leonid Utyossov, with his jazz band, gave more
than 200 concerts on different fronts. They worked in
the hardest conditions, were bombed out a dozen times.

Izabella Yurieva. Only in the besieged Leningrad she gave 106 concerts, getting there
on the Road of Life. In winter, when it was 38 degrees of cold, she sang on the Karelian and Kalininsky fronts. Without a microphone.

were organized, from them more than 700 were organized in Moscow and more than 500 were organized in Leningrad.

soldiers: “We appealed to ordinary spectators, who had been separated from families, from their business and had been forced to take up arms. At the same time, these viewers were extraordinary! It was necessary to show them high art, telling them about the triumph of life, truth, justice.”

were: Lyubov Orlova, Nina Ruslanova, Arkadii Raikin, Leonid Utyossov, AllaTarasova and others.

concerts, she went to the front hundreds of times. In 1942 she was awarded with the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad", and May 9, 1945 – the order of the Red Star.
