Daniel Defoe was an owner of the sock factory and he often visited Spanie and France.
We know him with the help of his famous novel “Adventure of Robinson Crusoe”.

His friend had 5 daughters and one of them was 4 years-old Alice.
Later Lewis wrote his “Alice in Wonderland” especially for her.
Alice is loved by most of the girls in the world.

In 1907 he was ordered a Nobile prize in literature.
