Anthropogenic factors of occurrence instability in the biosphere презентация

Слайд 2

What are the anthropogenic factors?

The term "anthropogenic" means of, relating to, or involving

the impact of humans on nature.

Anthropogenic sources of pollution

Stationary point sources
Mobile sources
Area sources

Evaporative sources
Controlled burns
Waste disposal landfills

Слайд 3

Impact of anthropogenic factors on biosphere

Emission of chemically and physically active substances and

inert materials into biosphere

Nitrogen oxides (NOx) - NO2 is one of the most prominent air pollutants. Nitrogen (N) compounds, emitted as NOX and NH3.

Particulate matter - Particulates, alternatively referred to as particulate matter (PM) or fine particles, are tiny particles of solid or liquid suspended in a gas.

Ozone (O3) - Ozone is not directly emitted into the atmosphere

Carbon dioxide (CO2) - emitted from sources such as combustion, cement production, and respiration.

Ammonia (NH3) - emitted from agricultural processes.

Слайд 4

Sulphur oxides (SOx) – Mainly Sulphur dioxide (SO2). It is one of the

causes for concern over the environmental impact of the use of fuels as power sources.

Слайд 5

Physical or mechanical impact

It is leading to change in land surface and

vegetation cover
erosion urbanization

ploughing

fires

Слайд 6

Biological impact

Biodiversity
Biodiversity refers to the differences in living things in an ecosystem. Increased

biodiversity increases the stability of the ecosystem as it provides for more genetic variation among species.
Human destruction of habitats through direct harvesting, pollution, atmospheric changes, and other factors is especially threatening current global biodiversity.

Removal and destruction of nonrenewable and renewable resources
