Harvard is the oldest University in the USA, was founded on 8 September 1636. Named after the English missionary and philanthropist John Harvard.

The leadership of Harvard are two of the administrative organization: the University President and fellows (also known as the "Harvard Corporation") and the Harvard Board of overseers (controllers).
