From ahn early age she studied the properties of plants and had the gift of healing, she knew how to tame even wild animals, and they obeyed her. A girl of amazing beauty and kindness fell in love with the young prince, and ne gave his word after recovery to go down the aisle with her. Fevronia returned the prince to health. But he, frightened by an unequal marriage, did not keep his promise to marry.

When the messengers came to Fevronia for the second time, she did not refuse help and again healed the young prince Repented, Peter married the deliverer and was happy with her until the end of his days.
