YAROSLAVL ART MUSEUM

The Yaroslavl Art Museum is the biggest art museum in Russian provinces. It is the only museum specializing in arts in the Yaroslavl Region.

The YaAM’s collection contains over 70,000 works of painting, drawing, decorative arts, applied arts, sculpture and numismatics.

The Museum of International Art holds works of painting, drawing, sculpture, furniture, and decorative and applied arts ranging from the 16th to early 20th centuries from the Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany and Far East.

The theme of the display extends to the exhibition room and the garden for exotic plants, to show a period in Russian garden design of strong interest in exotic plants.
