to improve social skills and a familiarity with authentic language resources;

Introduction
The modern world is unthinkable without the latest digital technologies and the Internet, which has penetrated into all spheres of our life, including education.

Internet resources in education
Our information XXI century (the century of high technologies) requires new approaches to the education system. The education system is a holistic, yet open system, the dominant characteristic of which is its information content.

A search system
A search system is a software and hardware complex designed to perform a search on the Internet and that responds to a user's request, specified in the form of a text phrase, by issuing a list of links to sources of information.

Distance learning
It is a method of studying in which lectures are broadcast or classes are conducted by correspondence or over the Internet, without the student's needing to attend a school or college. Also called distance education.
