But let’s be realistic. Doing such “lab work” is similar to physical fitness preparation in a gym or in aerobics classes. We could in theory do all these exercises on our own, if we were disciplined enough­—but most often we aren’t! The presence of others is motivating. And the presence of a teacher or coach is vital.
